How to Play

Your goal is to earn the highest score by rolling five dice and choosing thirteen scoring categories. Each turn permits up to three rolls.

  1. Activate Roll Dice or press R.
  2. After a roll, activate any die to hold it. Held dice remain unchanged on the next roll.
  3. Roll again, or choose a scorecard category. The category is then used for the rest of the game.
  4. After all thirteen categories are used, the game announces your final score.
Scoring categories and points
  • Ones through Sixes: total only the matching dice.
  • Three or Four of a Kind: total all five dice when the combination is present.
  • Full House: 25 points for three of one number and two of another.
  • Small Straight: 30 points for four consecutive numbers.
  • Large Straight: 40 points for five consecutive numbers.
  • Yahtsi: 50 points for five matching dice.
  • Chance: total all five dice.
